Ghost Town
Alone on this chair
Not a soul in sight
The haze in the air
Masks the midday light
Tears of sweat on my brow
But my body is chilled
Shield my eyes
Stare it down
Still no one
Does appear
In this ghost town

Of a lone coyote
Waiting and watching
Stealthily
