Red River: Music

Mystery Hill

(Red River)

Lyrics & Music by Dave Anderson; all instrumentation by Dave Anderson; produced by Dave Anderson

There are so many worlds

Beyond Mystery Hill

I went to the party

I worked in the mill

The summer’s parade

The milky white sky

The taste of the poison

The dare in her eyes

Out of the wild

Out on the sea

The night left a call

For me

Don’t know why

I can’t believe we

Just came here to die

I am alive

I’m not receding

I survived

And we’re still here

A mystery, dear

On Mystery Hill

And so days would go by

The months into years

What once had seemed endless

Is ending, I fear

So button your coat

Hold what is near

Take care of yourself

Or why do we live

Days go by

I can’t believe we

Just came here to die

I am alive

I’m not receding

I survived

And we’re still here

A mystery, dear

On Mystery Hill

On Mystery Hill
